Today, I check my blog and saw that my Google Page Rank (PR) has increased by one (see the banner on the sidebar). That means, my PR now is 1, instead of 0 before. Seems like I need 3 weeks to get 1 PR…. lol It’s not bad… Wonder how long will I need to get one more PR.

For Alexa traffic rank, I still in 3,634,792, but in Indonesian my traffic rank is in 27,547. As far as I can see, Alexa has updated my traffic rank twice, from 5 millions more, to 4 millions more, and now, 3,634,792. For a new blog, I think it’s not bad…

Some feature from Flowbox have been completed today. Now I can browse around my files and folders. However, it still need a lot of work and improvement, since in the current stage, it still working slowly and buggy.

As of now, I have able to change the widget size and image size using separated configuration files. To read configuration, I use ConfigFile class by kidscracker, which used on his E2 Light application. So for theme system, it is working now.

I finally get my first job as a freelancer, therefore I’m pretty busy this two days. The work sounds easy, to fix error things on the website. At first, the error that reported to me is just a few, but then, after more check, it getting more and more. I’m working from 8 am, until 6 pm today. I’m really tired (now I know how arctu and Taurnil feels while they were busy). So I’m gonna sleep now.

For this work, they’ll pay me IDR 600.000, or around $60. For two days work, it’s not bad. But really a hard work. Well, they haven’t paid me yet. They promised to pay me at the welcoming new year and will divide to multiple times, which is not cool. Well, as long as they can pay, I’ll be fine. They even want to hire me as an administration of their website that paid monthly. LOL But, I’m waiting for their payment first before deciding. Tomorrow I’ll be free, so I’ll continue my Flowbox development.

Also, I changed this blog template to a light one, since I found that the older template is pretty slow. It is a temporary template as I’m in creation with the new template. This template is created while I’m writing the Wordpress template tutorial.

On my previous post, I said that I wan’t to create an application using PictureFlow widget as it’s interface. Now, the idea is ready, the coding will be begin in short time. Here is the idea.

First, what the application does is a file manager with the awesome PictureFlow interface. So, we will able to browse our phone/card directory. That’s the basic of this application, and I named it Flowbox.

Today, December 22, is the Mother Day. Although, we didn’t celebrate it, I would like to get this chance to thanks to my Mom. She really an awesome mother and I’m happy to have her on my side. Even, actually, I can’t said it to my Mom directly. Mom, thank you for every thing you have done to me, I love you.

Now I can get the PictureFlow source files compiled, I started to create an application based of this widget. The PictureFlow widget is originally created by Ariya Hidayat and ported to our Linux phones by the well known member of MotorolaFans, blackhawk (aka Ketut P. Kumajaya). The project page is in http://code.google.com/p/pictureflow/, also the original thread is in here. Thanks to both of them, know I can create some awesome application with it. For the begining of this project, it will be still image viewer with some more features added. The name of this application will be decided when the beta is ready.

During my internet downtime two days ago, I bored sitting in front of my computer and a little tired after reading QT programming eBook, I open up my GIMP then started to drawing using the mouse. Yep, it is manga style character (I love drawing this) and a cute girl, lol. Her name is Sylviss Sofian, one of the main characters in my virtual (yes, virtual, because it doesn’t exist) manga. She is an archer, and be careful, she can kill you in instant if you dare to touch her…. lol And as usual, I’m suck on coloring so I just give a little effect on the shadow and light… Haha… I’m just bored and I write this on my boring time too… I’ll continue my Wordpress templates tutorial asap.

Now is the part 2. If you haven’t read the part 1 yet, go here to read it. If in the part 1 we have make the graphics we need to build the template, now it is the time to play with CSS and HTML. But first, before we going further, we must first understand the Wordpress template hirearchy. The Wordpress template, in the very minimum, need at least two files, style.css and index.php. We can however have more files that recognized by Wordpress to deliver different look on different requested page. But now, we create the standar template, at least we have header.php, footer.php, sidebar.php, index.php, comments.php, functions.php and style.css.
